Metrosphere is an annual art and literary magazine that professionally showcases the creative work of students and alumni of Metropolitan State University of Denver. Printed each spring since 1984, Metrosphere offers a creative alternative to news outlets. In 2007 and 2011, Metrosphere added the Associated Collegiate Press’ prestigious Pacemaker Award to its record of recognition and achievement. The magazine is supported by MSU Denver Student Media, which exists to provide a comprehensive, multimedia learning experience for MSU Denver students.

Each spring, Student Media prints 1,000 copies of the magazine, and holds a magazine release party. While supplies last, a student may find and take home a free Metrosphere from room 313 of the Tivoli. There, students can also browse through the Metrosphere archive.
